Este vídeo forma parte del proyecto The Vlink Project (Batalla 3), un proyecto de Maria Tinoco y Javier Moreno para la galería The Blink Project.

The Blink Project, al igual que otros centros expositivos y galerías, continúa con una oferta cultural online periódica de acuerdo a las circunstancias vitales que nos ha tocado vivir. Y para ello pone en marcha THE VLINK PROJECT, un programa de actividades que se desarrollará a lo largo de los meses de abril, mayo y junio. BLINK TO BLINK propone un juego que pone en diálogo espontáneo a lxs artistas de la propia galería. Una reflexión crítica sobre la manera de relacionarnos con el(los) cuerpo(s), con el ecosistema artístico y con nuestro propio territorio.

The Blink Project, like other exhibition centers and galleries, continues with an offer periodic online culture according to the vital circumstances that we have to live. And to This starts THE VLINK PROJECT, a program of activities that will be developed throughout the throughout the months of April, May and June. BLINK TO BLINK proposes a game that puts in dialogue spontaneous to the artists of the gallery itself. A critical reflection on the way of relate to the body (s), to the artistic ecosystem and to our own territory.

 

• Statement

Daniel Tejero Olivares: Su trabajo como artista-investigador ha evolucionado desde la preocupación por el cuerpo y las inscripciones de sexo, género y sexualidad, a la celebración del deseo y de los placeres. En estos momentos su investigación está centrada los placeres periféricos y en los espacios donde las

prácticas son reversibles. Ello supone un complejo juego de intercambios simbólicos que derivan en la producción de un simulacro, donde a nivel formal, el uso de la instalación, la reconceptualización del bodegón, el objeto descontextualizado o el dibujo, producen ensoñaciones y son sensibles a la proyección del imaginario de cada espectador/a. La visibilización de lo periférico o del no-cuerpo, se hacen indispensables en este punto de la investigación reivindicando esos otros placeres, que son muchos y variados.

 

Sebastian Chisari: Mi trabajo se centra en deconstruir la línea que hay entre la realidad y la ficción. Parto de preguntas de cómo escapar de la ciudad sin irse de ella, la posibilidad de sentirse más libre en un espacio cerrado o cómo a través de movimientos repetitivos podemos evadirnos de nosotrxs mismxs. Para ello recurro a pensadores filosóficos, resolviendo con un lenguaje visual colectivo estas cuestiones y utilizando las técnicas más afines a los proyectos que desarrollo.

 

Daniel Tejero Olivares: His work as an artist-researcher has evolved from a concern for the body and the inscriptions of sex, gender and sexuality, to the celebration of desire and pleasures. In these moments his research is focused on peripheral pleasures and in the spaces where practices are reversible. This supposes a complex game of symbolic exchanges that derive in the production of a drill, where at a formal level, the use of the facility, the reconceptualization of the still life, the decontextualized object or the drawing, produce reveries and are sensitive to the projection of the imagination of each spectator. The visibility of the peripheral or the non-body, they become indispensable at this point of the research claiming those other pleasures, which are many and varied.

 

Sebastian Chisari: My work focuses on deconstructing the line between reality and fiction. Part of questions of how to escape the city without leaving it, the possibility of feeling freer in a closed space or how through repetitive movements we can evade ourselves themselves. For this I resort to philosophical thinkers, solving with a collective visual language these questions and using the techniques most akin to the projects I develop.
