El Panóptico es uno de los modelos de prisión más importantes del siglo XX. Al igual que en la arquitectura barrial de los años 70 esta se hacía transparente y todo el mundo podía ser vigilado. Con el confinamiento ocurría algo parecido y además servía como espejo de nuestro tiempo.

 

The Panopticon is one of the most important prison models of the 20th century. As in the neighborhood architecture of the 70s, it became transparent and everyone could be watched. Something similar happened with confinement and it also served as a mirror of our time.

 

• Statement

En mi trabajo pretendo mostrar cómo en el anhelo de la belleza podemos encontrar aquello que se esconde detrás de los diferentes procesos y combinaciones de nuestra realidad. De esta manera, utilizo lenguajes como la video-instalación y la performance para manifestar aquello que no se ve a simple vista.

 

In my work I try to show how in the longing for beauty we can find what is hidden behind the different processes and combinations of our reality. In this way, I use languages like video-installation and performance to manifest what is not seen naked eye.
