Videoperformance, un pequeño y simple gesto, un cuerpo de mujer, fragmentado por la cámara, marca su cuerpo con el icono de objetivo, cubriendo su busto con su mano izquierda. Al terminar el dibujo muestra sus manos vacías para luego barrer la imagen con sus uñas.

Este video es una acción metafórica frente al contexto sociopolítico que se vive en Chile, donde el poder hegemónico se manifestaba y manifiesta con la represión hacia nuestros cuerpos y hoy se evidencia sistemáticamente a través del control de la circulación, represión y asesinatos de nuestros cuerpos, nuestros cuerpos son el objetivo, son el blanco que el poder quiere eliminar.

• Statement

Artista visual, de nacionalidad Chilena, Licenciada en Artes Visuales de la Universidad de Chile.  Su trabajo consiste en  la investigación  y creación corporal, a través de distintos medios y dispositivos, enfocándose en el vídeo experimental y performance, dentro de su proceso creativo, existe una amplia gama de investigación antropológica, sociológica, psicológica, territorial, histórica y artística.

 

Visual artist, of Chilean nationality, graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Chile. Her work consists of research and body creation, through different media and devices, focusing on experimental and performance video, within her creative process, there is a wide range of anthropological, sociological, psychological, territorial, historical and artistic research.
