Actos mínimos realizados en tiempos de confinamiento: coser una fecha en una mascarilla sanitaria, tender prendas antes inusuales, respirar conscientemente, sentir que no puedes respirar, respirar aceleradamente hasta sentir la falta de aliento para seguir respirando, dejar de respirar por un instante, volver a respirar sabiendo que nada será igual.

 

Minimal acts performed in times of confinement: sewing a date on a sanitary mask, hanging out previously unusual clothes, breathing consciously, feeling that you cannot breathe, breathing fast until you feel the lack of breath to continue breathing, stopping breathing for a moment, breathing again knowing that nothing will be the same.

 

 

• Statement

 

Artista interdisciplinar, profesora e investigadora en Facultad de Bellas Artes de Altea (UMH, España). Interesada en narrativas visuales, lo documental y diversos modos de hacer ficción sobre formas precarias de la cotidianidad. Es miembro del Laboratorio de Interferencias Artísticas y Mediales (IAM-Lab), CCCV y Petit Comité de Resistencia Audiovisual.

 

Interdisciplinary artist, professor and researcher at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea (UMH, Spain). Interested in visual narratives and dialogues between documentary and fiction on precarious forms of everyday life. She is a member of the Laboratorio de Interferencias Artísticas y Mediales (IAM-Lab), CCCV and Petit Comité de Resistencia Audiovisual.
