Agrestes pedregales, mar encrespado, olas de lava petrificadas. Hace mas o menos 1700 años que la erupción del volcán Xitle cubrió con su manto pétreo la zona que hoy es conocida como “los pedregales”, al sur de la ciudad de México. Al día de hoy la mancha urbana ha devorado gran parte de estos territorios, de muy distintas maneras. Sin embargo subsisten, perdidas en una ciudad que está dentro de la barriga de otra ciudad mas grande, pequeños enclaves en donde las rocas aún no han sido  transformadas en asfalto. En esta ciudad elevada al cuadrado, las deidades solicitan ofrendas por triplicado, con firma autógrafa al calce y con sello oficial de la institución.

Wild scree, rough sea, petrified lava waves. More or less 1700 years ago, the eruption of the Xitle volcano covered with its stony mantle the area that today is known as "los pedregales”, at south of Mexico City. To date, the urban sprawl has devoured a large part of these territories, in very different ways. However, they subsist, lost in a city that is inside the belly of another larger city, small enclaves where the rocks have not yet been transformed into asphalt. In this city elevated to squared, the deities request offerings in triplicate, with an autograph signature at the bottom and the institution official stamp.

Arquitecto descalzo, peatón empedernido, escultor/coleccionista de objetos recontextualizados. Investigador de procesos artísticos relacionados con la ciudad, la casa, el territorio y el barrio (tanto en su construcción, historia, trazo urbano, como en la gran variedad de subjetividades que ofrece). Convencido creyente del azar y las derivas que conlleva.

Researcher of artistic processes related to the city, the house, the territory and the neighborhood (both in its construction, history, urban layout, and in the great variety of subjectivities it offers).
