¿Existe una temporalidad diferente entre el territorio urbano y el territorio rural? La biciclenta, hecha de anea y concebida para ir lo más despacio posible, trata de experimentar esta cuestión. La presente serie atestigua de estas 680 horas pasadas por los caminos y del entrenamiento necesario para aprender a reducir la velocidad sin por ello perder el equilibrio.

Is there a different temporality between the urban and the rural territory?
The biciclenta, made of bulrush straw and designed to go as slowly as possible, tries to experience this issue. This serie testifies the 680 hours spent on the roads and the training needed to learn how to slow down without losing balance.

Su trabajo se centra en la relación entre cuerpo y fronteras. Mediante el desplazamiento, la artista multidisciplinar dibuja el concepto de frontera como límites físicos o muros invisibles que se atraviesan a diario. Emplea su cuerpo como eje central de su trabajo y explora mediante acciones el desplazamiento a través, al otro lado o adentro de espacios o de tiempos predeterminados.

 

Her work focuses on the relationship between body and borders. Through movement, the multidisciplinary artist draws the concept of border as physical limits or invisible walls that are crossed daily. She uses her body as the central axis of her work and explores with actions, the movement to the other side, through or within predetermined spaces or times.
