Una noche familiar partiendo aceitunas. Primera vez que presencio la escena y que se realiza la acción, ¿quién recuerda cómo hacer una salmuera? Acción colaborativa que pone el foco en esos pequeños gestos entre el extrañamiento y lo familiar de un recuerdo.

A family night, cracking open olives. First time I witness the scene and the deed, who remembers how to make a pickle? This collaborative action focuses on those small gestures between estrangement and the familiarity of a memory. 

 

• Statement

Cristina Vera Aurioles (Casarabonela, 1996). Su interés por el archivo doméstico le lleva a realizar producciones e instalaciones videográficas incorporando las temáticas intrínsecas en su revisión desde la práctica artística. Actualmente es investigadora predoctoral de la Uvigo dentro del Programa de Doctorado en Creación e Investigación en Arte Contemporáneo.

Cristina Vera Aurioles (Casarabonela, 1996). Her interest in the domestic archive leads her to make video productions and installations incorporating intrinsic themes in her review of artistic practice. She is currently
a predoctoral researcher at Uvigo within the Doctorate Program in Creation and Research in Contemporary Art.
